This is the news many German fans woke up to this Friday, only to find out that it had all been the work of a rather inventive hacker.
The headline appear on the official website of Borussia Dortmund. To add to the hoax, the hacker included a picture of Toni wearing a Borussia jersey.
"Clever, Very Clever"
By the way, Borussia's general manager Michael Zorc could appreciate the joke:
"To afford Luca Toni we would have to plunder the Bank of England."
