Soccer Extreme : David Beckham’s wife, Victoria ‘Posh’, always occupied the top position as the most fashionable footballer’s wife previously, that position is now shifted into the hands of Sylvie van der Vaart (pict). Victoria slipped to second place, losing out to Sylvie who came from Holland.In the list of 11 footballers wives called The Lovely XI by The Daily Mail, Thursday, December 9, 2010, Sylvie is ranked first, followed by Victoria and Olla Dominguez who was none other than the wife of Fernando Torres.
Sylvie and her husband had called a the ‘second Beckham’. Refers to their fame in respective fields, Sylvie as a model and presenter in the Netherlands, Rafael as a successful footballer in the Netherlands, Spain, and now at Tottenham Hotspur.
Sympathy began arriving to this pair when Sylvie otherwise affected with breast cancer in May 2009. Blond model is then declared free from cancer a few months later.
