Newcomers blackpool hammered Wigan athletic at JJB stadium by 4-0, New Signing Harewood was the pickof the players as he grabbed a brace and was constant threat to the Wigan defence all afternnon, Gary Taylor opened the scoring from the pool's which was later doubled and than trippled before have time by Harewood who scored two quiack goals to make it 3-0 on the day.
After the halftime it was all balckpool again who ran the show and it was a sorry afternoon for the home side as they were booed by their own fans later in the 2nd half. It is a disaster start by Wigan who crumbled to defeat in their first home game which they were expected to win big time. It might be a long season for them if they continue to play liek that.
