Basketball Wife : Ashley Walker

Soccer Extreme : Ashley Walker of VH1's "Bastketball Wives" says she can appreciate the stress that exes Eva Longoria and Tony Parker endured before splitting.

"Especially with both of them being in the public eye, their relationship was extremely magnified, so I can imagine what that was like," Walker, the girlfriend of NBA free agent Rafer Alston tells TooFab.com. "I know [Eva] is a strong woman obviously, and I know she's going to be okay no matter what she does. She's going to keep her head up and she's going to be fine."

Walker adds of basketball beau relationships, "It's just like being in any other relationship--you have your ups and downs, you have your arguments about family--but the public magnifies it."

As for Walker and Alston marrying one day, she tells TooFab, "That's kind of between us, but we're working on that. You know, we're working on that."

Regardless of their marital status, Walker says she knows how to keep the relationship healthy and fun: "You keep it spontaneous! That's the thing in relationships: You keep it spicy, you keep it spontaneous. You have your date nights. Especially when the guys are gone so much, it's important to have that 'me time.' You get caught up with the kids and all that but it's important to have that time between the two of you."

And Walker also makes time for others: She heads up the children's charity Ashley Walker's Mission of Love, and is also involved with A Girl's Life, which involves mentoring teen girls. Plus, Walker is involved with a renovation project in New Orleans, her hometown, which works on renovating parks.

And if that's not enough, at the other end of the spectrum, she's the face of Tequila Distinguido! So what's the wildest thing she's ever done after downing a few shots of tequila?

"Oh Lord, please don't ask me that! I do like to dance so I have a few drinks to loosen me up and dance and have a great time, let's put it that way!"

Basketball Wife : Suzie Ketcham

Soccer Extreme : Meet Suzie Ketcham, ‘Basketball Wives’ star and Michael Olowokondi’s ex-girlfriend. The new reality show premiered April 11th on VH.

The first installment of Shaq’s new show aired last night, and so far people don’t sound happy with it. The biggest criticism is that it would be more aptly titled ‘Basketball Ex-Girlfriends,’ because only 1 out of 5 of the women featured on the show has actually been married to an NBA player.

The show focuses on a group of women who have in some way been romantically linked to pro basketball players. They now frequent the high-end social circles and events that the VIP life has to offer.

Here’s a quick run down of the ‘Basketball Wives’ cast:

Royce Reed, Jennifer Williams, Evelyn Lozada, Erikka Moxam, Suzie Ketcham, and Gloria Govan.

You may recognize some of their names—especially Royce Reed’s, who is Dwight Howard’s baby momma, and was on the receiving end of a lawsuit he filed claiming she ‘damaged his image.’

One of the lesser-known stars of ‘Basketball Wives’ is Suzie Ketcham. She is Michael Olowokondi’s ex-girlfriend. Prior to their split, she and Michael had two children together. They dated for nearly a decade, which gave Suzie a formal education in the good life. She now uses those skills to work her way into exclusive parties, where she rubs elbows with celebs and pro-athletes on a regular basis.

I’m guessing the show will be filled with a good dose of one-upmanship. You know, who’s the richest, prettiest, and has the newest Coach purse. I guess it already got a little catty on the very first episode.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, the ladies were at a party in Miami hosted by TO and Ludacris. It sounds like a few of the cast mates grew a little jealous of all the attention that Royce Reed was getting as she paraded around the pool “gyrating” too much.

Evelyn Lozada simply said “It looks bad.” Yeah, we know what that means.

If you missed the first episode, you can tune in on Sunday nights at 10PM for more madness.

BIOGRAPHY : No party in Miami really begins until Suzie Ketcham arrives. Having lived in New Jersey, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, and now Miami, Suzie is connected all across the country and is the social butterfly of the basketball wives. She met professional basketball player Michael Olowokondi while attending college at Pepperdine University and was pregnant with their first child her senior year in college. They would have two wonderful children and be together for 10 years before finally splitting. Having been with an athlete for that long, Suzie knows the ins and outs of the "game" and is extremely protective and loyal to her friends. If she senses that one of her ladies is being attacked, she'll be the first girl on the scene ready to have their back. Now, fresh off her break up, Suzie has her eyes set on her multiple charities, her amazing children, her luxury real estate agent ambitions, and of course, tackling the nightclub scene with her best group of basketball wives. Her Season 2 starts with her dealing with ramifications of a Wives group trip to Vegas.

The Dallas Mavericks power forward stepped down and stayed home this time, and left the Dirk Bauermann-coached team holding its breath. In any case, Germany looks like an energetic team, with good floor control and with young players who look ready to grow wings of their own and not just be mere stewards on Nowitzki Airlines.
