Mohamed Zidan and Title Race

Soccer Extreme : Borussia Dortmund attacker Mohamed Zidan has voiced his opinion that the German title race will be decided in February 2011. The Borussen currently sit top of the table with 43 points from 17 games and have a 10-point lead over second-placed Mainz.

"I think that the Bundesliga title race will be decided in February 2011. If we manage to collect 10 points from our first five matches after the winter break, we will not give away the title anymore," said Zidan to Bild.

"Unlike a team such as Bayern Munich, we don't play for the league title every season. We get this kind of chance only once in every 10 years or so and we will not slip up."

The Egypt international has only just returned to full match fitness after a lengthy knee injury and is eager to prove his worth again in the second half of the season.

"I will do my utmost to return to the starting XI. Shinji Kagawa will be away on international duty for a while and we play in the same position.

"Even if i fail to break into the starting XI again right away, I won't cause any problems. Of course, I really want to play, but I have a lot of faith in head coach Juergen Klopp. He will make the right decisions." (goal)
