The Best 10 Twits of Twitter !

Soccer Extreme : Aldershot Striker Marvin Morgan was fined two weeks wages and transfer-listed after using Twitter to tell fans that booed him as he was being subbed in the 2-1 defeat to Hereford to die.

He said: 'Like to thank the fans who booed me off the pitch. Where's that going to get you! I hope you all die.'

Although he apologised it looks like it won't be enough to save him. So the social networking site has once again been the bane of those in authority and whether it's the athlete, the missus or even the mum it appears no boss is safe from a micro-blogging ear-bashing...

1) Darren Bent
Frustrated at the pace of negotiations between his then club Spurs and Sunderland, the England striker delivered a foul-mouthed tirade at Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy in July 2009: 'Do I wanna go Hull City NO. Do I wanna go Stoke NO do I wanna go sunderland YES so stop f****** around levy.'

2) Kevin Pietersen
England's Ashes hero was fined by the ECB for airing his frustration in public when he was omitted from the side's limited overs squad last year. He said: 'Done for rest of summer!! Man of the World Cup T20 and dropped from the T20 side too. Its a f*** up!!’

3) Jordan Crane
England and Leicester forward Crane upset boss Richard Cockerill when he told his followers an injury would keep him out for a while last August. He tweeted: 'Ankle again. Bad times. It's a dark day and it will be three long months.' When told, Cockerill said: 'Jordan is banned from tweeting or whatever you call it. The next time he does it I'll break both his ankles!'

4) Stephanie Rice
The Australian triple Olympic swimming gold medallist had her mega-money Jaguar contract taken away from her, as well as the plush car that came with it for writing 'Suck on that f***ots,' following her country's rugby union tri-nations win over South Africa last September.

5) Ryan Babel
Liverpool's young attacker and part-time rapper let fans know exactly what he thought of then manager Rafael Benitez's decision to drop him back in January: 'Disappointing news. The boss left me out the squad. No explanation,' then said: 'What happened after a first good season? Scoring 10 goals, being young talent of the year, and then second and this season don't play at all?'

6) Jose Enrique
Newcastle favourite Enrique tweeted that he would be missing his club's trip to Spurs in December, saying: 'Sorry lads I have a test this morning and we decide is better don't play.' His manager Alan Pardew then said the club would be making it a policy that tweeting has to stop when told about his defender's post.

7) Jonathan Thomas
When Ian Evans posted: 'Legs and ass are in bits, can't move' after a training session in February 2010, his Wales and Ospreys team-mate Jonathan Thomas replied: 'U gotta stop hanging round with Nigel Owens!' Thomas quickly apologised and referee Owens, who is openly gay, was quick to say he is good friends with the pair: 'It's just banter, it's been taken totally out of context, I think people are sometimes losing their sense of humour.'

8) Chloe Everton
Bosses at Sky ordered their sports news presenter to delete her sexually suggestive messages much to the chagrin of her male followers. In one tweet she said: 'golf today. played with 3 guys, i came first must have been down to good length' and in another: 'Stoke penetrate better when its Fuller, everyone knows that'.

9) Jozy Altidore
Villarreal and USA star drew manager Phil Brown's ire when the two were at Hull City. Striker Altidore turned up late for the pre-match preparation against Pompey and was dropped in October 2009. 'Apologise to all of you. I showed up late. Made a big mistake I'm very very sorry,' he said before being fined.

10) David Bentley's missus
Just like Liverpool's Paul Konchesky's mum stuck up for him on Facebook, the Spurs midfielder's wife let rip on Twitter in early January. Mrs Bentley wrote: ‘What’s happening? F*** all and its starting to wind me up!! Sort it out Harry for f*** sake.'
