It was a very important game for Gunners as City and United won their games earlier in the day and the pressure was on Arsenal to win all three points in this match against Birmingham City and they delieverd just that. Robin Van Persier scored his first goal after long time when he put the ball in the back of the net within first 14 minutes of the match.
Arsenal played some good football in this match and looked by far the better side, and they made the game safe jsut after halftime when arugbaly their player of the season Samir Nasri made it 2-0 on the day and put the game to bed for gunners.
