Gattuso's elbow to lead Pato

Soccer Extreme : Clarence Seedorf has played down Rino Gattuso's argument with Alexandre Pato during Milan's 1-1 draw with Lecce at the Via del Mare last night.

Gattuso had grown frustrated with Pato, who was particularly wasteful, and went over to have a few choice words with his teammate.

Seedorf was then seen lightly tugging at Gattuso's elbow to lead the player away.

“At times things can seem bigger than they actually are,” Seedorf explained. “They were only talking about a cross…

“When your heart is beating 180 times a minute, things don't always seem so lucid.”

Speaking after the game, Gattuso said: “It's all fine with Pato. What we said to each other is my business.” (football-italia)
